Mangalam Vidya Niketan opened its doors of wisdom in 2003 with the blessings of Shrimati (Dr) Sarala Birla and Shri B.K. Birla. A formal English medium co-educational school, Mangalam Vidya Niketan is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) for ICSE (Class X) and ISC (Class XII). The school provides education for students from the Infant level to Class X.In order to serve better and provide facilities to the rapidly growing family, on 6th December 2010, the inauguration of its current campus took place in Kaikhali.
The school started functioning from 1956-as a kindergarten school for underprivileged students. The humble beginning was made by Swami Shankar Kutty and then blessed by Mother Teresa in 1994 and for the improvement of the society and eradicating illiteracy from the society a formal school was formed known as North Point Day School run by the society “The Educators Assisting Children’s Hopes”. It was acknowledged by the Ex-President of India, Shri K. R. Narayanan in 2000.
