The word Ekya is derived from the Sanskrit sounds of unity and individuality. It embodies the spirit of collaboration and togetherness while allowing space for the individual to grow. The Ekya logo can be interpreted in many ways and we love seeing students derive their own meaning from it.
This school is built on an area of 22 acres. It has an admin block and blocks for ICSE, IGCSE and IB curriculum. It is a co-educational school with separate dormitories for boys and girls. The library has 22,000 titles, including books, journals, magazines, and e-resources. The campus has a half-Olympic-sized swimming pool, two basketball courts, one volleyball court, two lawn tennis courts, hockey ground, skating rink, and a cricket field.
New Horizon Gurukul (NHG), as the name suggests, blends the heritage of the ancient Gurukul tradition and modern methods to learning in a unique system that has been made popular by the school. Learning takes place in an eco friendly environment reminiscing the Gurukula of a time gone by. This unique Gurukul concept is skillfully facilitated by the guru (teacher) to empower the Shishya’s (student) experiential learning. The objective of this technique is to develop the holistic personality of the student, making him/her a better, happier and healthier individual.
